The short version
This site sets no cookies by default. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept a one-time analytics consent choice, which is optional and off by default.

vindexai.io sets no cookies of its own. By default, no third-party tag runs on this site, and your browsing carries no cookies.
A locked-down content policy
The site sends a Content-Security-Policy header with default-src 'self', keeping scripts, styles, and fonts on its own origin. Third-party scripts are restricted to Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com, loaded only after consent) and Google's identity service (for Reader Room sign-in and registration). The lead service that receives Request a Quote submissions is also first-party.
Analytics is a choice
A one-time banner asks whether we may measure visits with Google Analytics. Declining is the default and is remembered, so you are not asked again. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies; if you decline or never answer, no cookies are set and no analytics data is recorded.

The quote form retry value
The Request a Quote form uses one piece of browser storage — not a cookie, but in the same family of on-device storage, so we are disclosing it here rather than being technical about the distinction. It is a randomly generated value held in your browser's session storage so that if you press submit twice, or your connection hiccups mid-submission, the same attempt is not treated as a new one.
- Contains no personal information
- Is never sent to any server; only the request identifier derived from it travels with your submission
- Is cleared when you reset the form or close the browser tab
- Is never used to track you across visits, pages, or other sites
Your analytics consent choice
If you accept the analytics banner, we store your choice in localStorage (vindexai.analytics-consent-v1). If you decline, we store that choice too, so you are not asked again. If you simply ignore the banner, nothing is stored and nothing loads — the banner will ask again on a later visit.
Attribution and session data
If a campaign link brings you to the site (utm parameters), we store those tags in sessionStorage (vindexai.attribution-v1) so we can record which link brought you if you later register or request a quote.
Google Analytics cookies
If you accept the analytics choice, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure visits. See the privacy policy for details on what analytics records and how to opt out.
